Relationship counselling in Whangarei
Are you looking for a relationship counsellor in Whangarei?
My name is Celia Hall. I am a qualified counsellor and member of the NZAC. I have a lot of experience in relationship therapy and family therapy.
- Would you like to get a better relationship with yourself and/or your partner?
- Would you like to rediscover your love and joy?
- Would you like to communicate openly?
I offer both individual relationship counselling and couples counselling.
Individual relationship counselling
This means that the couple doesn’t come in together, but both (or one of the two) come for individual counselling, and work on their own issues in the relationship. And that of course changes the relationship (problems).
I will be working with you individually. When you feel better and/or your partner feels better, there is more understanding and less judgement. You’re more open for your partner and the relationship could flourish again.
If you’re partner is not ready / not willing (yet) for counselling, it may still be beneficial for you to come. When you change, the relationship changes with you.
In couples counselling you come in together. I aim to give you both equal time and attention. This will help you each to get your side of the story across.
I understand that whilst you are attending as a couple, you are also individuals. I won’t take sides or make judgements on what you share.
In couples therapy we talk about the issues you are experiencing at the moment and how these problems can be overcome.
By sitting with me you can take the time to express yourself and really hear each other.
You’re welcome with relationship issues such as:
✓ Communication problems
✓ Cultural differences
✓ Family problems
✓ Fear of abandonment
✓ Insecure in relationship
✓ Intimacy issues
✓ Marriage problems
✓ Midlife crisis
✓ Relationship anxiety
✓ Relationship fights
✓ Self love
Time for change
Conflict in your relationship can cause injury to basic attachments that hold the relationship together. Perhaps a conflict in goals or constant bickering has left you feeling as though you and your partner are growing apart.
If you don’t like the path your relationship is taking, it’s time to change the cycle. In relationship counselling we talk about the issues you are experiencing in yourself and in the relationship and how these problems can be overcome.
Individual relationship counselling is not only for partners, but also for other types of relationships, like mother-daughter relationships.
Are you experiencing relationship issues with yourself and/or in a relationship? Feel free to send me a message.
